The department has research and training collaborations with Sida (AIDS malignancies), UCSF (Cancer surveillance) and now we are establishing links with the University of Bergen in renal pathology and extra-pulmonary TB. The department also offers consultancy services to the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare (MOHSW) mainly through the Unit of Diagnostic Services and the Department of Human Resources Development. Furthermore, in the area of cancer care and surveillance we work very closely with the Ocean Road Cancer Institute (ORCI) alongside MNH.
